RiRi fans attack Idols judge Unathi

The online trouble started for Unathi when she responded to a tweet from SA hockey goalkeeper Sanani Mangisa, who said it is “always good bumping into your guys”.

She wrote: “Jonga how funny were you…’Riri may be miming but we’re having FUN’ CLASSIC! Always love being in your space.”

Unfortunately for Unathi, many vehement Rihanna fans did not take kindly to this accusation, with one tweeting: “who da hell r u to judge riri,when u can’t even sell 15 cd’s sfebe esimbi,gogo omyama aaaghh maan nxa”

Other haters soon followed suit, with another saying: “Also last night was a concert not idols ma’am! U should have left your judge hat @ home”. Even the state of Unathi’s derriere was not spared. One upset fan accused her of being “mad cause @rihanna got more money dan your flop ass”.

Things got a bit personal as the debate became increasingly heated. A young girl wrote:”Hearing @unathimsengana say she left the Rihanna concert early because she was ‘Lip Synching’ like.. You aint that good of a singer to judge”

Hit where it hurts, Unathi responded by calling the girl a “rotten soul”.

Standing firmly by her lip-synching claims, Unathi throughout the entire racket insisted it’s a”fact” that Rihanna mimed, stated, that she has personally “never and will never mime”, and constantly reiterated that she is a fan and “still had fun”.
