Pulane shares texts from soccer player ex to prove she was abused

After telling her story of being abused by an ex-boyfriend, Pulane received support from her many followers on social media.

However, she also received comments questioning her side of the story, with some accusing her of lying. Pulane also took to social media to share that she was in a very healthy relationship and she was happy with her new boyfriend, whom she had previously dated and who wanted to marry her.

Pulane has now decided to address people she says make it difficult for other women to come out and tell their stories of abuse. She shared texts from her ex-boyfriend, Katlego Mphela, a soccer player who is currently without a team.

Alongside the texts, she wrote: “I mean don’t get me wrong, we do have some of these ‘trash men’ who are also culprits, but there are also ‘trash women’ out here, when I decided to share what happened to me few months ago, as per the dates on those texts, 1: I had and still have a need to reach out to women who go through what I went through for the past 2 years and half of my life. 2:I had a need to finally free myself from this man who constantly abused me and manipulated to come back in his life, this was my way of getting closure.”

“I’m grateful that I managed to achieve both what i needed, cause most women and some men reached out, to say ‘ thank you for this’ cause they either went though it themselves or know someone who did and some lost their loved ones, which made me even more grateful for my life.

“What is sad is that we have these ‘trash women’ and ‘trash men’ who have been waiting for something bad to happen in your life to come out and say hurtful things using someone’s pain as a platform to hate.”

In another post, Pulane said: “The lies, the abuse has been going on through out the entire relationship, he was very good in manipulating me to come back in his life, but he never meant any of the words he said.”
