The family of late Please Step In host, Angie Diale has released information on the cause of death of the beloved TV presenter.
Diale passed away on Thursday at Leratong Hospital in Krugersdorp. A family statement seen by TshisaLIVE confirmed she died of pneumonia.
Family spokesperson, Lillian Mofokeng shared details of the memorial service scheduled for next week, Monday, 27 December.
The service will be held opposite Diale’s home at Meadowlands zone 9 and the funeral will be held on Wednesday, 29 December.

Diale was known for her HIV activism work and was affectionately known as Mam’ Angie.
The family statement read: “She was suffering from shortness of breath and subsequently treated at Tshepo Themba Hospital yesterday. She was later transferred to Leratong, where she sadly passed in the early hours of the morning. We kindly request to be afforded some privacy and time to deal with this sudden loss.”
The host of the TV program Please Step In on SABC 1 had doctors and psychologists step in to help families who have collective issues or challenges, to resolve them with particular members of the family.
The SABC released a statement on Friday saying they were saddened by Diale’s death.
“Ms Diale was innately passionate about communication between the youth, parents, and the community. She facilitated It Takes Courage, a curriculum developed to help youth and adults to identify their dreams and learn about healthy and unhealthy relationships using churches, schools and street corners to start conversations.
“The SABC sends its heartfelt condolences to her family, friends and colleagues. Rest in Power!”
