His estate agent, Ansie Louw, confirmed the offer to purchase but would not say for how much he was selling the house in the Silver Woods security estate, Beeld newspaper reported on Friday.
“All I can say is that the transfer process is underway. I cannot make more details public,” said Louw.
She said the house was sold through a closed bidding process.
“We went through all the offers and accepted one of them.”
Beeld said the house’s market value was around R5 million.
Pistorius is currently on trial in the High Court in Pretoria on a charge of murdering Steenkamp on Valentine’s Day last year. He shot her dead through a closed bathroom door.
He has denied guilt on the murder charge, saying he believed that she was an intruder and that the shooting was an accident.
