Orlando Bloom ‘very happy’ on Broadway

Orlando Bloom is ''very happy on Broadway'' and is keen to try another show in the future because it's a different experience to starring in Hollywood movies.

The 36-year-old actor made his theatre debut last year after signing up for the lead role in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, and he insists he’d would like to do another show in New York in the future because it’s a different experience to starring in a Hollywood movie.

Speaking at the Casting Society of America’s Artios Awards in New York City, he said: ”I’m very happy on Broadway and grateful for the opportunity. It’s very different than Hollywood and making movies. I’d definitely do it again if I found the right show.”

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star recently moved into a new apartment in ‘The Big Apple’ after splitting from his wife Miranda Kerr – whom he shares two-year-old son Flynn with – after three years of marriage, but he has insisted he will always love her.

He said previously: ”We’re a family. We’re going to be in each other’s lives for the rest of our lives. There’s no question that, you know, for the sake of our son and everything else, we’re going to support one another and love each other as parents to Flynn.”

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old supermodel is keen to branch into the world of theatre of movies after taking inspiration from Orlando.

She said previously: ”When I saw Orlando on Broadway in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week – I have so much respect for him.”
