Nota Baloyi calls for Berita’s arrest, accuses her of theft

Nhlamulo 'Nota' Baloyi strikes again and drags Berita's name through the mud. This time, he is accusing her of stealing from him.

South African podcast host and pop culture commentator Nota Baloyi sparked mixed reactions on Twitter after he dragged his estranged wife, Berita, accusing her of theft.

Nota posted a screenshot of Berita wearing a pink gown. He claims that the gown belongs to him and was bought for him a few years ago when he first visited New York.

“@SAPoliceService, I’ve found my stolen property. Please do your job & recover what’s been unlawfully taken from me,” he added.

He had first posted one of Berita’s TikTok videos, crying to God to restore his family.

“I’m human… There’s only so much a heart can take & this my heart can’t take. I did nothing to deserve this. God have you not tested me enough? Do you want your child to Jada Pinkett Smith me before you restore the family I prayed for? I ask myself because I would never question,” he wrote.

Nota and Berita’s break up

Berita opened up to Dineo and Sol on Kaya FM about the day she left her abusive marriage. The singer said she wished she had taken time to get to know Nota before she married him.

“I really was naive when I got into the relationship… The day I found out I was in an abusive relationship, I quickly made plans. I remember I had bought continental pillows, and I remember packing my stuff, and I told him I was taking it back.

“That moment, I booked myself into a hotel room, and I left as if I was coming back. I still came back, told him I was going to the studio, and I never came back,” she said.

Working with Puff Daddy

In another tweet, Nota hinted that he is working on a new project with the international music star Puff Daddy. He said he called his father to tell him the exciting news.

“He’s so excited, he told me my father-in-law is coming to see him, I said that’s good enough reason for me to book a flight home now. God is working on bringing my family back together. Prayer really changes things indeed!”
