Nomzamo Mbatha and Maps Maponyane appear to have had an amicable split despite recent reports of trouble in paradise.
Tshisa Live confirmed on Monday that one of South Africa’s most loved A-list couples have indeed parted ways. The confirmation came after several reports that Maps was allegedly caught cheating on Nomzamo.
“The cheating rumours are nothing new but Nomzamo got proof that couldn’t be disputed. She’s upset. She didn’t expect this,” an inside told the publication.
Another source added that Nomzamo was hurt over Maps’ alleged wandering eye saying, “they were good friends and he betrayed that trust”.
But the once loved-up couple don’t seem fazed by all the fuss over their split. Some of their fans are even questioning if they are over.

Their Twitter exchange has left people even more confused. While some are convinced it is proof that they are still together, others noted that Nomzamo called Maps “mfethu“ in her tweet, which means brother.
Where there is smoke there is fire and it looks like these two really have broken up – they are just fine with it!
