Nomasonto Maswanganyi, popularly known as Mshoza, has been the talk of the media since her messy divorce from businessman Jacob Mnisi. The divorce was fuelled with rumours of abuse and cheating scandals. Since her separation from her ex-husband, Mshoza took on a new project; skin lightening. Mshoza had previously said she wanted to look like Michael Jackson. There were rumours she used her ex-husband’s money for the procedures, which he claimed to have known nothing about. Mshoza however rubbished the claims, saying she could afford the procedures herself. She received criticism on Twitter for bleaching her skin. This is Mshoza before surgery.
Fast forward December 2015 and Mshoza was scheduled to perform at the 104 ANC birthday celebration in North West. According to reports, the Kortez singer could not attend the celebration because her doctors had given her an instruction to stay indoors as the province was hit by a heatwave. She was reportedly waiting for her medication from the United States which would enable her to perform even during the heatwave, however, the medication arrived late and she had to cancel her performance.
Now the Sowetan has reported Mshoza wants US rapper Nicki Minaj’s bum. Mshoza has apparently offered herself as a test model to undergo cosmetic surgery without paying a cent. Mshoza has reportedly been working with the company since 2014, and the company is hoping to make her their ambassador.
The paper further reports costs which include R3000 per session on the procedures and R5000 on fillers and Botox every four months. It also costs R2100 per month to maintain her complexion.
As part of the testing methods, Mshoza intentionally gained weight so the company could shrink her back to size in order to see whether their machines work. She lost the weight without exercising.
She is scheduled to perform for the first since her procedure at King’s Club in Durban on February 27.
