Mixed reactions about AKA’s Composure music video

Kiernan Forbes, better known as AKA, in September broke the internet with his diss track Composure.

The five-plus-minute barrage of bars marked the first time AKA has taken his much-publicised beef with Cassper Nyovest and his tiffs with Anatii and Ricky Rick. Before Cassper could respond to Composure Ricky Rick hit back with a song. The song is a combination of rap and actual recordings. Ricky explains his standpoint in the situation and that “he is not beefing”.

These are excepts from the track: Look at where we came from. N****s aint beefin’, n****s is saving their income…Twitter blowing up, they telling me that I did some’. What the f*** yall n****s talking ’bout. I’m the only one who wanted these n****s to work it out.  I was the only one who was tryna make peace. I guess my only mistake was being a real G… The game tryna remind me about competition. The game tryna’ turn me against my idols. The desire to win is suicidal. F*** rap, im doing this for survival…

Not long after Ricky dropped his song, Cassper followed suit and dropped Dust to Dust.

AKA has recently returned from the USA after winning two awards at the Annual African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) in Dallas, Texas.

He released the official video for Composure and social media got buzzing. This is what they had to say:
