Though she explains that her career takes priority, television presenter and actress Minnie Dlamini says she no longer talks to her ex-boyfriend Itumeleng Khune and has found herself a new bae, indicating that her relationship with the Chiefs goalkeeper “didn’t end great”.
“I’ve made the conscious decision of putting my career first. That is my first love, that is my main priority and my main focus, and everything and anything else comes second,” she told Gareth Cliff on Cliff Central, explaining to him that “there might be someone” in her life right now.
“For me it was really about being able to escape and go home and not just be Minnie Dlamini that everyone expects me to be.” She further explained that her man is someone she has known for a very long time. Its “someone who’s actually been one of my best friends, and we decided to move from being friends to being lovers”.
She says for her, it’s important that the guy one day gets her father’s approval because she values her dad’s opinion.
The 25-year-old went on to tell Cliff that she hopes to retire at the age of 30. “By 30, I’m done. I want to really retire soon. I’m going to live on my farm and have babies,” she said, adding that the guys she usually dates are always good looking, so that she gets to have cute babies.
