After being in the entertainment industry for more than a decade, Minnie Dlamini has admitted that there is “just one person” with whom she has an ongoing rivalry.
During an interview on YFM, the TV star was asked if she had any feuds in the industry and about rivalry in general.
“For sure. I wouldn’t say (I was beefing with) a couple, probably just one,” she said.
Even though Minnie didn’t name the person, it has long since been rumoured that she and Bonang Matheba had a fallout years ago, and have not seen eye-to-eye since.
Minnie believed that if people have disagreements it should be resolved by communicating, not gossiping.
“We are cool as long as you haven’t done anything to disrespect me, and I haven’t disrespected you. And in the event that it happens, I hope you pick up the phone and we have a chat about it. People allow things to be unnecessary. People like gossip,” she added.
Minnie said that there was a lot of fakeness in the industry, but sometimes all that is needed is for celebs to talk about their differences.
“I try to filter out what people tell me that other celebs have said. I have learnt through experience that people say I have said things about others, and I don’t even know who that person is. So if I bump into you, I’m definitely bringing it up. But if it sounds far-fetched or I don’t believe it, I keep pushing,” she said.
