London property hunt reignites Royal feud for Harry and Meghan

It’s said absence makes the heart grow fonder but the saying doesn’t seem to have an effect on Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the rest of the Royal Family as the two are reportedly looking to buy their own London property.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are aiming to have a home base in London, insiders told the Sunday Times, rather than ask the King for property on the royal estate after they were removed from Frogmore Cottage.

PR expert Kieran Elsby said the controversial couple was preparing for another feud with the Royal Family as they begin their property search.

“While they’ve voiced their desire for privacy and independence, their actions, such as this potential property purchase, might be interpreted as a deliberate move to maintain a disconnect from the Royal Family,” he told The Mirror.

It’s “essential” that the couple find a balance between their own lives and their connection “with the institution that has been a significant part of their lives”.

Not his brother’s keeper

William and Harry are still at odds, with no end in sight, at least, not yet. The Royals host Brooke Siffrinn thinks reconciliation can happen, but it’s just going to take a while to get there.

Siffrinn believes the brothers may make up, but not until after their father, King Charles dies, and at that point, it will just be them, suggesting they may come to the conclusion: “You know, this was stupid, none of this matters, let’s put it all aside,” she said.

But, there is hope, with Siffrinn suggesting Charles and Harry restore their close bond first, as they are father and son. She believes it will bring William and Harry together, suggesting “nothing that serious has happened between them. To them, it probably seems so big, but, they’re brothers”.

The brothers’ feud is said to have spilled over to their wives, Princess Kate and Meghan.

“I think, if there’s any hope of anyone working out the feud, it is probably Harry and Charles. I think Charles really does love Harry, obviously, that’s his son,” said Siffrinn.

“I think William and Harry have always had a little bit of a rough go of it, even as kids. I know this is colored through the lens of Harry’s book, and it’s obviously from his perspective, but there are times that I’m just like, ‘Wow. William just seems like a… jerk.’”

She explains what she means by that: “The things that he would say to Harry that went beyond an older brother kind of thing. I think, maybe some day down the road, maybe when Charles passes away, I hate to say that, those two, it will just be them at that point, like maybe they’ll find a way, when they’re older to be like, ‘You know, this was stupid, none of this matters, let’s put it all aside.’”
