Rapper Kwesta and his family were left shocked when they were alerted to a robbery at his home in Midrand, Johannesburg.
Sunday Sun reports that thieves apparently made off with R22 000 during the break-in.
The rapper became the talk of the town on Saturday night after he closed off the SAFTAs with an explosive performance. But the excitement of wowing fans was short-lived as he was alerted to the robbery shortly after.
Kwesta told the paper that he was shocked when security guards called him to notify him of the break-in.
The rapper is not the first celebrity to be targeted by criminals. Last year, Nasty C was held up at gun point in his home.
Thugs made off with laptops, tablets, cellphones and a pricey Rolex watch during that incident, but the rapper was grateful to have been left unharmed.
