Kourtney Kardashian’s recent engagement has been touted as proof that people should not “settle” in relationships, even if they have spent over decade with a partner.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star’s fiancé, drummer Travis Barker, popped the question on a beach, with thousands of red roses surrounding them.
Kourtney said she woke up thinking the night was a dream.
Inevitably, her previous, tumultuous relationship with Scott Disick, which was highly televised on the show because it lasted over 10 years and produced three children together, is a now a topic.
Social media users expressed concern over Scott’s wellbeing because he previously said that he wanted to marry his ex.

Kourtney shared in the episode that she wanted romance in her relationship and was watching classics such as Titanic to feel some connection.
Scott wasn’t moved by her argument that their chemistry was lacking, saying Kourtney was aspiring to unrealistic romance goals, adding that their relationship isn’t a movie.

It was reported that Scott knew the engagement was coming but still felt “sad” about it and was very low after hearing the news.
The on-and-off couple ended things in 2015 when Kourtney broke up with Scott for the final time because she was unhappy with his behaviour and after having his three kids, she had grown tired of his actions.
Scott’s struggles with alcohol, violent outbursts and the loss of both his parents were covered on the iconic reality show.
