Winnie Ntshaba, who plays Khethiwe in the popular soap, apparently failed to report to work at the Henley Studios in Auckland Park last Friday, Daily Sun reported.
Ntshaba was reportedly busy organising the Royalty Soapie Awards, forcing Generations boss Mfundi Vundla to cut her scenes and rewrite the episode.
An insider told Daily Sun that Ntshaba was called several times but she kept giving them the ‘run around’. Mfundi reportedly also read the riot act to the actors who were on duty on Friday, complaining about people who thought they were ‘bigger than the soapie’.
A source however claims the show has decided not to discipline Ntshaba. The source said Mfundi was afraid if his actors kept leaving the show he would end up with no one.
