VIDEO: Khaya Mthethwa bemoans reaction to moaning video

Pastor and gospel artist Khaya Mthethwa has slammed Twitter comments about his latest video as “highly disturbing behaviour” after Twitter users made fun of his moans.

The holy man shared an innocent video of him bonding with his son at indoor activity arena Bounce.

In the video, Khaya can be heard moaning as he bounces up and down on the trampoline alongside his son.

“And we back with oyi!” he captioned the video, referring to his son Oyinkosi Mthethwa.

Oyinkosi is the child that Khaya shares with his ex-wife, Ntandoyenkosi Kunene. Oyi was born in 2019, and is currently four years old.

He later quoted the tweet and added: “Can’t believe you guys can twist and sexualise a vid with my son!! Highly disturbing behaviour!”

The divorce

2019 was also the year that the gospel singer and former Miss SA announced their split, after two years of marriage.

They never announced when they started dating, however, they did go public wih their relationship on 2017, just months before getting married in a traditional ceremony at Kunene’s family home in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga

The pair did not list the reasons for their split which fueled the rumour mill about why they may have split.

Several gossip blogs have alluded to the fact that Khaya may have been unfaithful.

Speaking to YFM sometime after his divorce, Mthethwa opened up about struggling to cope, especially due to the judgment he faced from society.

He said that he fell into depression and turned to alcohol to cope.

Mthethwa claims to have emerged victorious after his depressive state and told the radio station that he was working on becoming a better father for his son and a role model for the younger generation.
