The last 24 hours have been a rollercoaster for Khanyi Mbau and her partner, businessman Kudzai Terrence Mushonga, after he alleged that she went missing during their trip in Dubai.
Mbau, however, seems to be okay after her man posted several Instagram stories and videos expressing how disappointed he was she didn’t inform him about her flight back to South Africa.
The actress and socialite’s return was met with relief from her family, with her brother and media personality Lasizwe Dumbuza posting on Twitter that their family had visited their father’s grave, who passed away last year.
“Dear Dad, your daughter Khanyi is home, safe and okay,” Lasizwe wrote.
Mbau, on the other hand, seems to want things to get back to some form of normality after all the drama, as she posted a pic admiring her new hair while everyone was still trying to understand the drama.
Mushonga took to social media to say he was relieved after his “sweetheart” texted him that she had returned to Johannesburg. Mbau even posted her plane tickets showing her flight details, dismissing reports she went “missing.”
However, Mushonga says the lengths he went through to find out her whereabouts made him “go crazy”.

Tearing up during an Instagram live stream on Tuesday evening, Mushonga said: “After all we have went through, I don’t know if this is the part where we are breaking up? So all this time I am going crazy saying I can’t find Khanyi… We didn’t fight, we didn’t argue…I should have known.”
The Zimbabwean businessman went on to reveal more details of how much he allegedly pays towards Mbau’s lifestyle but he later deleted his posts.
“What did I do wrong for you to turn against me? Even the place you sleeping at tonight in SA [and] where your daughter is… Baby you know I handled that! I pay for everything.”
Mushonga also shared a picture of a conversation between himself and Mbau, claiming she only had roughly R3,000 in her account before she left Dubai.
UPDATE:
Terrence Kudzai Mushonga has since taken to Instagram to apologise to Khanyi Mbau.
