Just about a month after Kgomotso Christopher shocked fans with her exit from SABC 3’s Isidingo, e.tv publicist Michael Pocock confirmed to TMG Entertainment that the actress has joined the hit soapie scandal, playing a character named Yvonne; a high-class Sotho woman‚ who takes advantage of men, making them help look after her so that she doesn’t have to work a day in her precious life.
“Yes she has joined the show and will be on screen from late June. Since this is Masasa’s last week on the show‚ we needed to bring in a strong lead female character and we felt that Kgomotso is the perfect fit for the role‚” Pocock told TMG Entertainment.
Excited about her new job, Christopher took to twitter to express her joy. “Excited to be working with the talented cast and leading show,” she wrote.
According to reports, the actress started filming for the soapie this past week.
