Podcast and Chill with MacG has become a space for celebrities to clear the air about previous controversies, and on occasion even share information we never knew about them. And recently, Molemo “Jub Jub” Maarohanye did exactly that on the latest episode.
Jub Jub lightly talked about his time in prison and shared thoughts of his contentious relationship with ex Kelly Khumalo on Wednesday evening’s celebrity edition of Macgyver “MacG” Mukwevho’s podcast.
Jub Jub unexpectedly shared unflattering information about his former partners, such as revealing that he was in a relationship with media personality Amanda du-Pont, which took many by surprise. He admitted they had sex and it was his fault the relationship ended.
In the now-infamous clip where he claimed that “everyone knows Kelly uses umuthi“, Jub Jub alleged that she used traditional medicine to lure him from Du-Pont, claiming that’s how his relationship with Kelly started.
Furthermore, the Uyajola 9/9 host discussed his distant relationship with his son Christian, a child he has with Kelly.

The singer has said on her reality show, Life with Kelly Khumalo, that Jub Jub is not a present father at all and has never reached out nor seen his son in years.
However, Jub Jub played a voice note during his interview that “proved” he had tried to reach out to meet Christian.
In the voice note, Jub Jub says: ” I am trying to keep this as short as possible. I have recently come to witness certain things that [aren’t great] regarding our situation with noboy [son]. I need my boy, the boy needs his father, please can we meet at your soonest convenience.”
He further asks that during this meeting, they address any issues with their son and put their differences aside for the sake of Christian.
“Please get back to me as soon as you can,” Jub Jub concludes.

Viewers of Kelly’s show pointed out that the child made it clear he did not want to meet his father. Kelly did ask Christian if he would like to meet his father but he denied the request.
Jub Jub did miss the early stages of Christian’s life who is now 12. Jub Jub was sentenced to 25 years in prison in December 2012, for causing a car accident near a school on a public road that killed four pupils.
Jub Jub served just over four years of his sentence and was released in January 2017.
Despite the show and tell of the interview, Jub Jub did leave a few inspiring words for his followers, as the episode was trending on Twitter.
However, some of his critics wished he reflected more on his time in prison, as some viewers didn’t like the tone of the episode.
