Kanye West has reportedly been paid around R30 million for a show in Kazakhstan.
The rapper was invited by President Nursultan Nazarbayev and performed at his grandson’s wedding on Saturday night.
According to gossip site TMZ, Kanye was given a huge payday – in the region of R30 million – for the concert, which featured big hits like ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’.
In the past, the star has shown his determination to use his wealth to fund the protection of his partner Kim Kardashian and their daughter North.
It was previously revealed he had invested over R13,4 million on anti-kidnap cars to keep his family safe, and it is said caring for the pair is his main ”priority”.
An insider said: ”Kanye is fully aware that his new family is so high-profile they attract the attention of weirdos and psychopaths.
”He aims to leave nothing to chance. His priority is to get delivery of the vehicles, especially Kim’s, before he begins his US tour in October.”
However, the amount of control he is taking over the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star is said to have caused a ”power struggle” between the couple.
A source previously explained: ”Kim is getting really upset that Kanye has been taking over and making all of the public announcements about baby North.
”She hasn’t been able to do anything. She didn’t announce that she was pregnant. She didn’t get to show off the baby first.
”Kanye is doing everything and it’s causing a huge power struggle between the two of them.”
