J Something’s father has passed on

J Something’s father Carlos Fonseca passed on two days ago while the musician was on tour.  J Something took to instagram to express his grief.

“This is my dad… 2 days ago whilst on tour he passed away. Hardest thing I have ever had to deal with… People close to me understand what I’m feeling! What I wanted to share with you is the reality of what we do… After he passed on I had to jump on stage. Smile. Dance. Sing. Next day same thing.  My choice. In a way doing what I love helped me deal with it. I love him beyond words… He made me. I wanna thank all the people around me that sent me messages and comforted me,” wrote.

“I am now on a plane to Portugal to be with my brother… To raise a glass to him. I wanted to also thank you all for always cheering me on in all that I do… Surrounding me with your prayers. We are nothing without people and I wouldn’t be on planet earth with this dude right here… My father… RIP Carlos Fonseca aka Papa I will miss you… But I am gonna make you proud in all that I do, “he further wrote.
