Legendary gospel artist Dr Lusanda Mcinga’s management has dismissed reports claiming that she is bedridden.
However, her manager, Sinalo Mcinga, confirmed that Dr Lusanda is not in perfect health.
“The headline was misleading, and it is not true that Dr Lusanda Mcinga is bedridden. Yes, I can confirm that she is suffering from back and waist pain, and she can’t stand for long periods of time,” Sinalo told The Citizen.
He added that the Sobonana Emathuneni hitmaker is still able to attend performances and will be performing in East London later this month.
“Even though bookings are not as frequent as before, she is still available and continues to take bookings. The only difference is that she now performs while seated.
“I can also confirm that she is scheduled to perform in East London this coming Monday, the 28th of April.”
