Cassper Nyovest: ‘This is the mess that I’ve created’ following damning allegation by mother of his son [VIDEO]

Refiloe “Cassper Nyovest” Phoolo has told the Americans on the US show Sway In The Morning that he also would like to be American. In an interview on Wednesday, Cassper touched on all things relating to his music career, and also the relationship he has with other rappers.
It all started when Sway asked him if America was a big influence on SA hip-hop, to which Cassper responded with an obvious “yes”, before saying he was the Kanye West of Mzansi in terms of creativity and pushing boundaries.
Cassper admitted that America was a big influence in his life and that he was not ashamed of it, in fact, owning up to the American influence would help him find who he really is. “I’m influenced by America, I wanna be American,” he said.
Going to America is like going home, he said, adding that it was a big deal that he is there because South Africans admire America so much, “when we come here it’s like we’re coming home”.
Like Kanye, Cassper said he was the most hated-most loved rapper in Mzansi, adding that he had a few haters who would have preferred it if someone else was doing the interview.
The Mama I made It hitmaker finally settled a matter that the AKA/Cassper camp has always wondered about – who is richer of the two?
Earlier this year, SA Hip Hop magazine published an article listing the top-10 richest South African rappers.
On the list, Nyovest – whose achievements include his latest album Refiloe going platinum, filling up the TicketPro Dome and signing a deal with MTN – was worth R3.2 million.
The magazine further reported AKA to be worth R4.8 million, acquired through endorsement deals, performances and album sales.
Commenting on the article, Cassper said the information was false, as he had made a whopping R8 million in 2015, just from shows.
Hopefully, he has finally laid the matter to rest as he told Sway he was the highest-paid SA rapper.
This is how Twitter reacted:

The reason why you always find ways to belittle other people's success might be the reason why you stuck where you are.
Let Cassper shine!

No one is hating on Cassper, I mean I'm not. But we are just outraged at the biggest lie of 2016 he told up there. Wow. It was unnecessary.

Please understand this, Cassper fans.
We're not hating. Maybe a little. But that was a huge lie. He should've just tried another joke tbh.
