Mpumelelo Mseleku, son of Musa Mseleku, has candidly expressed his aspiration to embrace polygamy, emphasising his unwavering affection for multiple women.
The professional soccer player has revealed that he is currently involved in a polygamous relationship with two girlfriends, namely Vuyokazi Nciweni and Nompumelelo Makhanya. In a candid disclosure, Mpumelelo has openly discussed his polygamous relationship.
During an episode of The Venting Podcast, the soccer player openly disclosed this information to Gogo Skhotheni, mentioning that everyone involved has reached a mutual agreement.
Mpumelelo and Vuyokazi share a child, but Vuyokazi lives in Cape Town while Nompumelelo resides in Durban.
Polygamy is not about money
In his interview with Gogo Skhotheni on The Venting Podcast, Mpumelelo acknowledged that he understands polygamy is not only about money. He expressed his readiness to offer both emotional and financial support to his girlfriends, who will soon become his wives.
“We have a lot of girlfriends and then there would be one you choose as a woman you could take home to introduce to the family. You can’t just have one girlfriend and make that girl your wife only for that person to betray you. You have to date a lot of women then choose,” said Mpumelelo during the interview.
The soccer player says that his polygamous father, Musa, did not influence his choices, and he has made a promise to himself to go beyond his father’s legacy of having multiple wives.
“I love women. I would be lying if I said my father convinced me into being a polygamist. If I was doing it for my father, I would not be able to continue doing it. I am still going to continue. I won’t say how many women I plan to have, but they are more than my father has,” added the soccer player.

Musa Mseleku advices his son to protect himself
Musa has four wives and ten children. If it was not for the Mzansi Magic reality show called Uthando Nesthembu, many people in Mzansi would not have been aware of him.
Being a polygamist himself, Musa, advised his son to take precautions and ensure the safety of himself and the women he is involved with.
This comes in response to the leaked audio recording by controversial singer Queen Lolly, which allegedly captured intimate moments between herself and Mpumelelo.
“Don’t do what you are doing. I was sent by your mothers. MaCele (first wife) said I must tell you that she is warning you to stay away from older woman.
“MaYeni (the second wife), your mother said I must tell you that you must love yourself, don’t involve yourself in everything. Show self-love, love yourself, protect yourself, and protect the people you are dating,” said Musa.
After receiving initial warnings from Musa’s two wives, the third wife in the polygamous marriage also provided he advice to Mpumelelo.
“MaKhumalo (third wife) is asking why did you not speak up until you ended up in this problem while we are here. We are your family. We are your protectors,” Musa told Mpumelelo.
“I am saying, as your father, stop that and never do it again. Women can make you and break you. I want to tell you that we are here as your family and we love you.
“At the end of the day, you need to look after yourself. You are going to be affected by spirits but you’re also going to be infected by illnesses that are not good,” concluded Musa.
