Musician Shaun Stylist said he is balancing family and work this Easter.
“This weekend, I plan on waking up my son Maison with his very first Easter egg hunt.
“After that, we’ll enjoy a special lunch with the family before I head off to perform at a few gigs. I’m excited to help make other people’s Easter weekend a celebration too!”
For radio personality and author Carol Ofori, Easter is a time to pause and reconnect.
She said she is spending Good Friday and Saturday away with her husband and children, before returning home to Durban for Easter Sunday with extended family.
“Easter has always been one of the most important times for me. It’s a moment to reflect, reset, and be grateful for everything we have.
For my family, it’s a time of spiritual significance – one we honour by spending it together, focusing on what truly matters.”
Amapiano DJ duo 2wo Bunnies are using the Easter break to connect with fans and celebrate with their crew.
“We’ll be recording a special music mix that reflects our sound.
Afterwards, we’re getting the team together for a meal full of good vibes, and ending the night with a live set at Tempo in Sunninghill.”
Content creator and wildlife conservation manager Shandor Larenty is dividing his time between animals and loved ones.
“Over the weekend, I’ll be at the Lion & Safari Park in the mornings, checking in on the animals, and spending afternoons with friends.
Whether it’s a bush braai or a hike, I try to make it count.”
Jacaranda FM breakfast host and musician Martin Bester said he is taking a break from his usually packed schedule.
“Easter reminds me to appreciate the simple things – good food, laughter, and the people who make life meaningful.
Usually, I’m busy waking up South Africa or rocking a stage, but come Easter, I swap the mic for family lunches and chocolate eggs – no regrets!”
Media personality and businesswoman Kim Jayde is happy to be slowing down after the past few months of travel.
“After travelling non-stop for almost two months, I’m so thankful to be spending Easter at home in Mzansi.
Easter weekend without pickled fish and marshmallow eggs just wouldn’t be the same! I’ll be spending the day with close friends since my family is in Zimbabwe – and I’m looking forward to home cooking, laughter, and love.”
