The End Game actor filed for the reduction of his maintenance on 25 October.
The Star has reportedly cited unemployment as the reason for his plea to lower the amount he was ordered to pay.
According to court papers, Hlomla was ordered by the South Gauteng High Court to pay a monthly maintenance fee of R4 100 per child.
He approached the court two months ago and according to court papers, the actor wants to pay a monthly maintenance of only R1 200 per child.
The case he brought for reduction of maintenance was postponed to 10 February. When the SunTeam approached Candy for a comment, all she would say to us was: “I have no comment.”
Hlomla said: “The figures you quote (R4000 – R1200) only make up a portion of the settlement plan. They do not reflect the entirety of the maintenance package. All maintenance plans are occasionally adjusted as people’s conditions change. This is no exception.”
