More hardship for winning dancer

South Africa's 'So You Think You Can Dance' winner Sibahle Tshibika has reportedly suffered more hardship with the death of another family member.

According to the Cape Argus, yet more has tragedy struck for the young dancer, who is believed to have been involved in a car accident with her aunt and mother.

The publication reports that the three women were on their way to the Eastern Cape to attend Tshibika’s grandmother’s funeral when they were involved in an accident, in which her aunt reportedly died.

Her mother is believed to have suffered some injuries, while it’s understood that Tshibika wasn’t hurt in the accident.

Tshibika was the winner of the third season of the SABC3 reality dancing competition, but her victory has been overshadowed by the tragic death of her grandmother, who passed away while watching the final show in which she was announced the winner, and the subsequent threat of being kidnapped for a ransom.

Fearing for their own safety, Tshibika, who walked away with R250 000 for winning the dancing competition, was forced to go into hiding with her sister and mother after they were alerted to the rumours about plans to kidnap her.
