Eugenie Bouchard didn’t make much of an impression at the Australian Open but her daring new haircut is making waves on social media.

Reactions to her new look, with her trademark long blonde hair shaved at the sides, were mixed when she posted the finished result on Instagram, ranging from “punk rock grrrrl” to “ouch”, “what is this cr**?” and “nooooooo”.
She did, however, get 29 700 likes.
Agnieszka Radwanska outclassed Bouchard 6-4, 6-2 last week.
The Polish fourth seed faces world number one Serena Williams in the semifinals today. Radwanska has never beaten Williams in eight attempts.
