Faith Nketsi’s ‘love bubble’ popped as her husband finds himself behind bars

Reality television star and content creator Faith Nketsi has remained mum since her husband, Nzuzo Nkuthalo Njilo handed himself over to police in KwaZulu-Natal on Monday morning.

The last social media content served by Faith was on Sunday, when she shared pictures of her and her daughter wearing matching maroon outfits.

While hubby Nzuzo was nowhere to be seen in the photographs, Faith captioned her post: “Love Bubble.”

However, in snaps she shared on her Instagram stories on Monday, which has since expired, Faith did share a picture of her baby daddy and daughter with a caption “They play too much”.

Despite the streets of social media buzzing about her husband’s impeding arrest, the influencer didn’t seem as if she cared, clapping back at haters on Instagram.

“Energy (with a white heart emoji). I wish I could understand you dear, but I don’t bark. Have a lovely day,” she captioned a post which included three slides. Two of the slides were snaps of her posing in a white pleated skirt and sleeveless white shirt, while the third slide was a meme with the words ‘Keep talking. I am diagnosing you’.”

Why is Faith Nketsi’s husband in jail?

A warrant of arrest was issued by the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 18 April 2023, for Njilo and Kwanda Ntshangase.

According to the police, the duo allegedly masqueraded as salesmen who pretended to be selling a truck in May 2021.

“The unsuspecting buyer went and physically viewed the truck at a dealership in Boksburg and later paid the two a substantial amount of money. The truck was never delivered and since then the duo could not be contacted and their whereabouts remain unknown,” a statement from the Office of the Provincial Commissioner of KwaZulu-Natal said.

After police uncovered that certain information on the sale agreement was fraudulent, a criminal case was opened.

After evading the authorities for almost a week, police confirmed on Monday that Njilo handed himself over. He has since appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on a charge of fraud. He was remanded in custody and will stay behind bars until Friday, 28 April.

His accomplice Kwanda Ntshangase handed himself over to police on 20 April, and appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court on 21 April.
