Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa continues to tell her side of the story as she reveals more information about her contentious relationship with DJ Black Coffee.
The former couple hasn’t been on good terms since they spilt over two years ago and Enhle is still setting the record straight on what went wrong.
In August, she released a trailer of an interview titled, Simple Live, Simply Love, Simply Enhle. The first full episode was released last week and it started off with Enhle detailing her childhood, how she was raised by her grandmother and wanting to become a doctor or psychologist.
What people wanted to hear about the most, however, was how her relationship with Black Coffee and how it started.

“We made the decision together to build together and now he is built. I agreed to take part of my life which I considered close to me and put [that] aside to make this work, to make ‘forever’ work and it didn’t.
“I am not a victim even though at times the pain may feel that way or has felt that way. I am not a victim. I am a woman who helped build her man.”
Enhle also said the narrative that she’s a gold digger is not true, and she is not the “mean woman” who wants to take everything.
“I’ve taken [the] pain and I have turned it to happiness and joy. I have taken the ridicule and turned it to strength and pose.”
The actress has previously placed their private matters on social media, accusing Black Coffee not paying electricity bills, with the DJ saying it wasn’t his responsibility to do so.
It was also ruled in court in November 2020 that the DJ had to pay R15,000 a month for spousal maintenance and R50,000 in child support, denying her request for more than R131,000 in monthly maintenance.
Enhle says all their “drama” started on her birthday many years ago, adding that she did not cause the “public spat” between her and Black Coffee.
“I am not an angry black woman, I am a woman who had to stand up for herself,” she said.
When their divorce become public knowledge, Enhle says she was disappointed that the “truth” wasn’t being sought out.
Enhle has accused her ex of being abusive, allegations he has denied. The star added there were times she thought she didn’t make the right decision to leave Black Coffee but realised that “abuse is not right”.
The Rockville star also touched on the decision to take time off from her career, saying it wasn’t solely her decision but she is content that she did it.
The actress says her next relationship will be hers and she will introduce a man to her family when she’s ready.
