‘Date My Family’ contestant responds to claims he abused a teen girl

Mdu Nyoni gained fame on the popular reality show Date My Family for all the wrong reasons, and the notorious contestant is making headlines again.

Rapper A-Reece accused Mdu of physically assaulting an 18-year-old girl at a  shisanyama in Hatfield a few days ago.

A-Reece took to twitter to detail how Mdu allegedly tried to force the girl to leave with him.

He posted a short clip that showed a man dragging a woman behind him.The rapper says he and his friends were shocked at the man’s behaviour and “f**ked him up”.

According to A-Reece’s tweets, the teenager was “treated badly” by Mdu because she wanted to leave with them, and not him.

“It only popped off until he decided to dreadfully pull the girl out the whip coz she didn’t wanna get out and tag along with him and his “girlfriend”. This explains how it got to him dragging her all over the damn ground. Yeah we F**KED HIM UP? Some’n the dirty police wouldn’t do (sic),” he tweeted.

Mdu denied A-Reece’s version of the event in a statement released this week.

“Saturday my neighbours who were celebrating a birthday as girls came and asked if they could come to Hatfield shisanyama with me and my business partner. Which we agreed to and we warned them not to entertain people especially guys because nightlife is and they are young (sic),” his statement read.

Mdu added that they made sure that the girls were well taken care of in the VIP section, with a bouncer keeping a close eye on them.

He says in the early hours of the morning they asked him if they could sleep in the car. As he was readying to leave, he says he was told by employees that one of the girls was being taken by a group of men.

He says he rushed to the parking lot where he found three of the girls, but one was missing.

“I asked them where she is because I won’t be part of telling her mother she disappeared. One of my guys screams and says she is in the H1. I go straight to the vehicle [and] as I approach the open side door I see a carton of codeine sealed, and another open with these boys drinking the drug with the girl put between them,” the statement continued.

Mdu added the girl’s speech was slurred, and was saying things that don’t make sense.

He says he told her to “get out now” and leaned in to grab her hand.

“The guys in the car pull her back saying ‘Dude, the b***h is ours”.

Things escalated after that with Mdu saying the girl eventually fell out of the vehicle, and she started slapping him. He says he ignored her and pulled her towards the car where the other three girls were waiting.

Before he could get to the car, Mdu says “all of a sudden I felt a bottle hit me in the back of my head and non-stop blows from the back”.

A-Reece and his friends managed to drive off with the girl, which Mdu describes as abduction.

He says he was shocked to get a call from his publicist asking what did he do.

“I go to tweeter (sic) and see a statement from A-Reece the Hero.”

Drama!
