The Sowetan claims to have seen text messages that prove Khoza has been cavorting behind his wife’s back with a varsity student called Modiegi Mulaudzi.
The funnyman has a child with a woman called Lerato, who sources say he married in a traditional ceremony in 2008.
The publication quotes a text message reportedly from Mulaudzi to Khoza, which allegedly reads: “I know you are in a difficult position and my biggest fear is that you probably gonna wanna work things out at home coz you don’t wanna be the villain (sic). I feel like I’m the third wheel almost.”
Mulaudzi, however, said “It’s not true” when quizzed about the alleged affair, and hung up the phone at the mere mention of the SMSes.
Khoza gave a rather different response when asked if he was cheating on his wife, justifying the sending of messages by denying that he is married.
He said: “If I am married then I am cheating, if I’m not married then it’s just a relationship I’m having with someone.
“I can send messages to 10 000 girls, how is that an affair if I’m not married? I know for a reason that I did not [share] SMSes from my phone [with] anyone.
“The person who has the balls to call me about it and write a story will have to deal with me afterwards.
“I’ve never offered my personal life to the media so to see a story about me cheating on my wife would be very amusing.”
