Pulane Lenkoe has received an overwhelming amount of support since opening about an abusive relationship this week.

The socialite revealed in an emotional post on Instagram that her ex-boyfriend beat her on several occasions.
She did not mention her abusers name in the posts, but several media outlets have named her former partner football star Katlego Mphela as the suspect.
Pulane, who shared pictures of her injuries on social media, says she decided to speak out to close the difficult chapter in her life.
Scores of her followers reached out to her on Instagram, thanking her for speaking out about the alleged abuse.
“I would like to thank you all for the warm words of encouragement, love and support,” Pulane wrote on Instagram.
One person who was not buying Pulane’s story was entertainment blogger Phil Mphela, who reportedly is Katlego’s cousin.
He tweeted that it was new to him that the football star was violent, and he has known him all his life.
“You damn right: I’m going to ask where is the police report?!” he tweeted.
What kind of evidence would suffice for you Phil?

But many, including Mzansi stars, were quick to come to her defense
Luthando ‘LootLove’ Shosha was less than impressed with Phil’s comments.
“Terrible Phil. You should know better than that, infact you do. What is not fair is you thinking knowing him all your life means she’s lying,” she tweeted.

Actress Samkelo Ndlovu also put the blogger in his place.
“And don’t reach and say we share the same sentiments on women in abusive relationships. I DONT victim blame! You are a FRAUD,” she replied.

Sbahle Mpisane was also disgusted by his tweets.
“We need 7 dragon ballz to bring back Hitler to deal with fools so he can deal with fools like this one,” she wrote on Instagram stories.
