Olympic athlete Caster Semenya has reportedly taken the next step in her life by paying lobola for her girlfriend Violet Raseboya.

The Sunday Sun reported that Semenya’s relatives went to visit Raseboya’s family to negotiate lobola. Apparently her family offered to pay R25 000.
In a recent interview, Semenya said Raseboya was her ‘soulmate for life’.
When she was called for comment about lobola, Caster’s phone was answered by Violet, who said: “Caster is still in training and you can leave a message so I can pass it on to her.”
