Cassper’s ‘Tito Mboweni’ is trash, rather download ‘Hell Naw’ – iFani

iFani says the song is bad because the only part in the song Cassper's fans know is 'Sha Sha'.

Rapper iFani has landed himself on the wrong side of Cassper Nyovest’s fans after advising a Twitter user not to “waste” money on Cassper’s latest single, Tito Mboweni.

“Please don’t waste money on that song, my King On to the next one,” he told the follower.

In a series of tweets, iFani, who has acknowledged that he is not being played on radio right now, said though he was a “huge” Cassper fan, he thought his latest hit, despite its success, was “trash” and should be left in the dustbin.

“When the only part of the song you know is ‘Sha Sha’, you should know it’s wack. Rather download ‘World is yours’ or ‘Hell Naw’,” he said, adding the hashtag, #TrashSha

He further advised him not to make a video for the single, though Cassper has been telling his fans he would be shooting one “soon”.

“Apologies to every Cassper Nyovest fan if my tweets offended you, when I heard Cassper was shooting a video For that Sha Sha pap, I got offended.”

Though fans were dragging him on Twitter for the comments, iFani has insisted that criticising each other’s songs is what the two rappers apparently do. He said the day he went gold was the same day Cassper called and told him he had “f*cked up”. That did not stop him from supporting the Mama I Made It hit maker, he claimed.

Contrary to popular belief, Cassper did not even fill the dome, only the EFF did it with 20 000 voters, he said.

iFani further alleged that his record label was punishing him for dragging AKA on Twitter by not playing his music on radio.

“Yes I went gold on the first day, following week – Twitter beef with AKA then they shut my music down. No biggie June, contract expires,” he said.

His criticism of Cassper’s song shows that he supports him, though he feels he should have handled it differently.
