Cassper Nyovest wins big at the Metro FM Awards

It seemed nearly everyone in the entertainment industry came out to celebrate the awards.

The fashion on the black carpet did not disappoint. Although there were a few outfits that had us wondering what exactly the wearer had been thinking when they chose them. Metro FM DJ and Top Billing presenter Bonang Matheba was in Gert Johan Coetzee, naturally and bedecked in Cartier jewellery worth R1.2 million, reports say.

It was a big night for hip hop artist Casper Nyovesst, who walked away with 5 awards, such as Best Male Album, Best Hit Single. He also won the coveted Best Hip Hop Album, beating out fellow rappers K.O and AKA.

AKA walked away with the award for Best Collaboration for his song All Eyes on Me featuring Burna Boy, Da Les & JR .

All the rapper had to say at the end of the night was he would see everyone at the MAMA’s fueling talk that he might have been disappointed at his lack of silverware.

Cassper Nyovest fans were quick to remind him who the biggest winner of the night was. Not rising to the bait, AKA mentioned he was going to be a father and won’t get mad. He even congratulated Cassper and he himself received congratulations from his lady and soon-to-be mother of his child, DJ Zinhle.
