Actress Buhle Samuels is keeping fans guessing after her post was mistaken by some as her baby reveal.
Earlier this month, Samuels made a similar confusing and read-between-the-lines tweet that left fans concluding she had had a child.
Posting a picture of herself holding a newborn baby girl, Samuels is seen glowing and smiling.
She wrote: “Aunty B’s First Christmas. You are so loved iNana.”
There were many congratulatory messages that followed, including from influencer Tshepi Vundla, who commented: “Awww congratulations Mama.”
Vundla, who just wed long-time partner, musician and Idols South Africa JR Bogopa, realised later what the caption read, as some pointed out that Samuels is now an aunty.
The photographer of the picture, with the handle @kistphotography, cleared the air and said the baby is Samuels’ niece.
In response, Vundla said: “@kistphotography goodness, I’ve had so much champagne today, I didn’t read the caption.”
Buhle tends to surprise her fans with her announcements, particularly with her nuptials as the public was unaware she was seeing someone in March 2022.
When she tweeted a baby announcement later in the year, people were confused once again.

“WELCOME TO THE WORLD LITTLE WITTLE ANGEL ???? YOU ARE LOVED E.E.S.S. My heart can’t take it! I am so over joyed! 12/12/22 will never be the same again.”
In March 2022, Buhle tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony and the news only broke when wedding guests broke the couple’s rule barring them from posting about the nuptials.
Though she has never addressed or confirmed the news, those who claim to know the man she was pictured next to have identified him as Thando Sonqishe.
However, the couple has continued to keep their union and relationship under wraps, as the actress and influencer hasn’t posted her husband nor shared photographs of her wedding.
