Bucie’s biggest fear

Talking to The Citizen today, the ‘Easy to love’ hit-maker explained what terrifies her the most.

While she always managers to wow her audience with her beautiful voice and win a crowd within minutes of stepping on stage, Bucie, real name Busisiwe Nolubabalo Nqwiliso is a singer, whose talent awakes her biggest fear.

Talking to The Citizen today, the ‘Easy to love’ hit-maker explained what terrifies her the most. “I’m in my late 20s and my career is just taking an elevation. That on its own scares me. Even my friends sit me down and tell me that friend you need to stop creating a hit song and getting people to love and talk about it and then disappear,” Bucie said, indicating that if anyone monitors her work, they would grasp this.

She says she feels that if she doesn’t take a bit of time away from the limelight every now and then, the experience will be too overpowering for her.

“It’s just going to be too much because even now, it’s still overwhelming for me. It’s overwhelming going to a supermarket and bumping into an old person and they know who you are, and they tell you how much they love you, or going to gym and have the security guard tell you that they were just telling their daughter about you the other day and how humble you are,” she said.

She further explained that though she is grateful that people appreciate her and her music, experiencing so much love can be terrifying. “It’s really honestly scares me at times,” she says.
