Bridget Masinga bids farewell to Jacaranda FM

Renowned television personality and radio presenter Bridget Masinga will this month bid farewell to the Jacaranda FM family.

Following a one-year stint with Jacaranda FM, where she presented the mid-morning show, the vivacious Masinga will part with the colour purple as she makes her move to another radio station in September 2016.

“It’s been quite an exciting learning experience for me at Jacaranda FM. Being here has afforded me the opportunity to interact and engage with different markets, which was equally challenging as well as rewarding in the end,” she said “The mid-morning show has been quite a fun one to present. My listeners and I grew accustomed to each other; all thanks to my incredible team that I worked with and to my colleagues who helped me settle in. But, as the saying goes, all good things come to an end eventually,” she added.

Speaking on behalf of Jacaranda FM, GM Kevin Fine says: “It was wonderful working with Bridget and we wish her the best of luck in her new endeavours.”

Masinga’s voice will remain on the airwaves as she jumps ship to another Gauteng-based radio station this September. Speaking to the PR Director Vista Kalipa, who remains tight-lipped about which radio station Masinga will be moving to, The Citizen managed to obtain information that she will be doing an arts and culture type of show, which will be aired in a later slot than her Jacaranda show.

Masinga is also a regional judge for Miss South Africa 2017.
