Musician Bongani Mohosana (popularly known as Murdah Bongz) is eagerly awaiting the impending birth of his child with DJ Zinhle.
He recently shared a photo of himself standing in the completed nursery along with the caption: “Cheers 2 Life…”
He also tagged his girlfriend, DJ Zinhle in the photo, to which she replied; “Love you.”
Mohosana and Zinhle will soon be welcoming their first child together. The new baby will, however, be Zinhle’s second child.
He was careful to not post a colour version of the photo that could possibly give away the gender of the baby based on the chosen theme for the nursery.
The couple has been secretly dating for a while and became slightly more comfortable with sharing their relationship after continued headlines about their rumoured relationship.
Bongani Mohosana was previously linked to actress Thuli Phongolo.
In an interview with The Citizen, DJ Zinhle gushed about her partner and how supportive he has been, especially during this time.
“I took advantage of Bongani’s love and affection and kindness and everything,” said Zinhle.
She advised expectant moms who are still with their partners to bathe in their partner’s love and care.
“To be able to share this moment in that way with him was special because he is so patient and so calming and kind and having him around was something I needed for the pregnancy.”
Bongani is expected to appear on DJ Zinhle’s upcoming reality show created for BET Africa called Unexpected.
Unexpected begins on Saturday, 18 September 2021 at 7.30pm (CAT) and will air on BET Africa (DStv channel 129).
