Bonang claps back at ‘Engrish’ hater

If you are going to hate on Bonang Matheba, at least make sure you strike while the iron is still hot – not months later.

Bonang, who is fast becoming SA’s new queen of clapbacks (move over, Pearl Thusi!), dished out a class reply to an Internet troll who made fun of her “Engrish”.

A Twitter user made fun of her English on Sunday – seven months too late.

Queen B was famously mocked for the errors in her book, From A to B, which was released in July last year and is still a sought-after item for some of her fans. Some criticised her writing style, labelling it “Engrish”.

One of Bonang’s fans shared a picture of Bonang’s book on Twitter.

A hater then made a comment about the book’s “Engrish”.

“Babes we Engrish,” a hater tweeted.

The comment did not go unnoticed by Queen B, who was tagged in the original tweet.

Bonang clapped back in a blasé reply.

“This insult is tired baby. We need something new,” she posted.

More than 3 000 people liked Bonang’s reply.
