Bonang “Queen B” Matheba bagged yet another award on Thursday night. She was nominated in the Media Personality Of The Year category at the Oliver Empowerment Awards. With 1.51 million Twitter followers and her “King” behind her, how could she not win the award?
Queen B was nominated in the category alongside Minnie Dlamini. The two share great influence, and with constant media scrutiny they also live in public consciousness.
Khanyi Mbau, Poppy Ntshongwana, Jonathan Boynton-Lee and Devi Sankaree were also on the list of 20 nominees.
The Queen could not wait to share the news with her fans. She received words of congratulations from her “King” and her followers. This is what they said:
