Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s wife, Rachel, posted a video of herself ensuring that the lawn was tip-top at her new home in Paris.
The fitness instructor and influencer’s sharp lawn mowing skills impressed many people, including the Boks player Cheslin Kolbe, who jokingly asked how much Rachel charges, to which she responded with laughing emojis.
Rachel said she learnt mow the lawn as a kid. She wrote: “Never been more grateful that this was one of my chores as a kid, in Grahamstown. Feeling SUPER accomplished today! And celebrating all the small victories!”
The Kolisi family moved to France in August, ahead of the Rugby World Cup.

Rachel gushes over Siya
Taking to Instagram on Sunday after the Springboks match against Tonga at the Rugby World Cup, Rachel said she was proud of her husband.
The Boks “first lady” was also at the Stade de Marseille Stadium, where the Boks beat Tonga 49-18.
The Boks may qualify for the quarterfinals, depending on the final pool match between Ireland and Scotland next weekend.
Speaking after the match yesterday, Coach Jacques Nienaber said they had to wait and see.
He added: “The other pool (pool A, quarterfinal opponents) gets sorted out on Friday night, and our pool (pool B) gets sorted out on Saturday, so it’s a waiting game for us.”
“Our hookers got some decent game time in a proper Test match against some good opposition. So it’s one step closer to getting game time in big games under their belts.
“It was brilliant to get 50 minutes into his [Pollard] legs. He had only (recently) played 30 minutes in the (English) Premiership, so to get exposed to international rugby I think it’s a nice stepping stone for him and we can build from there.”
