Boity registers 1 million followers

Just recently television presenter Minnie Dlamimi announced on social media that she has attained 1 million followers on Instagram – and now its Boity Thulo’s turn.

The Club 808 presenter couldn’t let Minnie be the only star that shines. She took to Instagram today to announce that she has also finally reached the 1 million mark. Thulo posted a snapshot to demonstrate her excitement and captioned it: “This is truly humbling. I could never be able to put into words just how much your support, kindness and Love means to me. Thank you to every single person who has contributed to adding light to my page and my life. Thank you for choosing to love me, to support me and for always cheering me on. Even in my low moments, I know that I’ll find light here and be reminded that nothing is ever as bad as I think. Thank you, Lovers! Here’s to 10 million more! Haha! I love you guys!”

Whether the milestone has been reached due to followers wanting to know more about the blue revealing dress Thulo was wearing at the South African Music Awards (Samas) this year, or the news that the beauty is training to become sangoma, remains a mystery. But nonetheless, just like Dlamini, Thulo is now one more celebrity that can assertively say “I’m relevant and have something to show for it.”

The television presenter and actress has recently confirmed rumours that she is undergoing a journey to becoming a traditional healer, and opened up about her sangoma journey on Instagram, leaving her followers more than happy for her.
