The album, le Grange’s fourth full-length studio effort, includes seventeen songs in English and Afrikaans. The first single, ‘Kaapse Water’, is currently receiving air time on local radio stations.
The 31-year-old singer, who was placed fourth in the first season of the television singing show, insists that the new release’s Afrikaans tracks are a reflection of who she is.
She explained: “My fans were a bit upset when I started doing Afrikaans music, but it’s me, that’s my roots.”
The Pretoria-born talent has just finished a stint on stage in Cape Town, starring in the local adaptation of West End musical production ‘Blood Brothers’, directed by David Kramer.
