Beyonce and Jay Z spend $100,000 on champagne

Beyonce and Jay Z splashed out almost $100,000 on champagne for their fellow nightclub revellers on Friday night.

The couple, who have a 23-month-old daughter, Blue Ivy, bought several rounds of drinks for everyone in the VIP section at Club Reign in Atlanta, Georgia.

A source told gossip website TMZ.com that the duo, who topped Forbes magazine’s World’s Highest Paid Celebrity Couples list this year after earning $95 million between June 2012 and June 2013, ordered hundreds of bottles of Dusse and Ace of Spades, which cost approximately $300 each, and footed the entire bill.

The singer and the 44-year-old rapper were in good spirits as they danced to their hit duet, ‘Crazy in Love,’ and partied with pals, including Jermaine Dupri, Bow Wow, The Dream and Trey Songz.

Earlier this year, the generous ‘Pretty Hurts’ hitmaker, 32, spent $26,400 on a party for her backing dancers to thank them for their hard work during her London concerts in May.

A source previously said: ”Beyonce wanted to say thanks to all of the backing dancers, crew and everyone else involved with putting on the six shows.

”Between the lot of them they managed to drink their way through more than $26,400-worth of booze in just a few hours.”
