Bernard Parker’s wife, Wendy, penned a touching message dedicated to the soccer star following his injury.

The TS Galaxy player suffered a leg injury on Wednesday during a match against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Parker was tackled by the opposing team’s player, Bongani Zungu, in the 58th minute of the game.

Taking to Instagram, Wendy penned a touching message, saying angels will help him.

Translated, she wrote: “Bernard Parker, remember you got beaten but not destroyed. Find the peace and calm in the storm.

“God commanded the angels to be with you. He gave angels, not your situation, an authority to serve you. God is refuge and strength. He is your protection, and he commanded angels to help you.”

Mzansi wishes Bernard Parker a speedy recovery

Parker joined the trending topics on X, as soccer fans flooded the timeline with speedy recovery messages.

Football analyst Shakes Rampedi tweeted: “Just want to wish Bernard Parker a speedy recovery. I know with the mentality he has, Die Hond will overcome this, no doubt. Must admit also, I’m really disappointed with the behaviour of Bongani Zungu. What has happened to him?”

TS Galaxy also released a statement on X wishing Parker a speedy recovery.
