Babes Wodumo owes thousands in ‘salon debt’

Babes Wodumo took hair weaves worth R16,500 from a Durban based salon owner.

According to Sunday Sun, Babes hasn’t paid her debt to Frank Ilonde for the hair he supplied her with. Frank meanwhile sees no issue as he told the paper that Babes takes hair and pays later.

“We have an understanding with Babes. She’s been my loyal customer for two years. And yes sometimes she comes in, does her hair and pays later,” said Ilonde.

The paper further reports that the weaves Babes owes cash for cost R5,000 each.

A source said when contacted about her debt, Babes promised to pay but ended up telling Ilonde she was too busy.

Another source said Babes was indeed too busy as she traveled often.

“Babes has money and I know she’ll pay…people just want to speak badly about her because she’s doing so well,” another source said.
