‘As long as we play well’ – Thuli P hits back at 2Faced critics

Fans are not impressed with the former Generations: The Legacy’s star, Thuli Phongolo’s latest career move.

The actress has joined forces with Slenda Da Dancing DJ to form a DJ duo called 2Faced.

Some netizens have labelled the move as “brand suicide” for Thuli after the duo’s performance video made rounds on social media.

“Thuli P is way too fine for this. She has no business doing such,” one netizen wrote.

Thuli hits back at critics

Thuli is seemingly not bothered by the negative comments on social media. Taking to X, she said they [2Faced] will continue having fun regardless.

“Hayi le stricti shame! Kodwa ke, as long we play well, we’ll continue to have fun kunye nokunye we’ll leave it up to you guys cause you know everything,” she wrote.

Taking to X a few days ago, Thuli said she understood that starting something new was challenging.

She added: “But it certainly restores your fire! It feels good to look forward to something again …”

Thuli and Slenda said as a duo, they bridge the gap between two powerful musical worlds and blend the beats and rhythms of Amapiano with the raw energy of Gqom.
