Arthur Mafokate’s son leaves daddy’s shadow

The talented son of 999 Music owner and kwaito legend Arthur Mafokate, Arthur Mafokate Jr, will create mixes for the Ukhozi FM’s breakfast show, and the station’s eight million listeners on the Friday Mix slot this month, together with hosts Zama Ngcobo and Sipho Mbatha.
“I surely hope this opportunity is what I need to break into the industry and establish my brand. I hope the market will relate to my mixes and become loyal supporters,” said the excited DJ to Sunday World newspaper.
His prominent was an overjoyed man this week. “I’m proud because he loves what he is doing. As much as I don’t think it was a good idea, it’s working for now. I think he’s just having fun and trying everything, but he hates it when I say it,” Mafokate mentioned.
The young DJ has had signature performances, including setting himself on fire while performing. His latest single ‘Floating’ is doing very well on radio stations across the country.
